20 years ago: Ron McBride turns down Hawaii coaching job to stay with the Utes

After a week of thinking it over, Ron McBride decided Hawaii was just a nice place for a vacation and that he would stay put as coach of Utah's football team.

Former Hawaii quarterback June Jones took the job a season after the 'Bows went 0-12 and led them to the 2008 Sugar Bowl.
