3 takeaways from the Utah Jazz's 129-109 win over the Los Angeles Clippers

The Utah Jazz won their fifth straight game, defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 129-109 at Staples Center on Wednesday.

Mitchell leads Utah again

On New Year's Eve, Donovan Mitchell tweeted "New year, new me."

Mitchell has certainly fulfilled his New Year's resolution through January, putting together another compete game in Utah's win. Mitchell led all scorers with 28 points and added two rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Mitchell turned in another night of highlight plays in Wednesday's win.

Gobert turns in another monster night

Rudy Gobert continued his stellar play as of late, scoring 23 points, pulling down 22 rebounds and adding four blocks, an assist and a steal. Gobert was a presence defensively, accounting for 16 of Utah's 40 defensive rebounds and six of the Jazz's eight offensive rebounds and altering shots in the paint.

Korver, Crowder provide a spark off the bench

Three-point specialist Kyle Korver was huge for the Jazz, scoring 19 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Korver's 19 points are tied for his most in a game in a Jazz uniform this season. Korver was 4-of-5 from beyond the arc and was a plus-8 on the night. Jae Crowder turned in one of his best performances of the season, scoring 23 points to bust out of his shooting slump. Crowder finished a team-high plus-29 on the night. Crowder and Korver combined for 42 of Utah's 51 bench points.
