Krita is a great free software tool for creating illustrations, drawings, etc. That has nothing to envy other proprietary tools. In the blog I've already written about this great tool sometime.
It's amazing what an artist with aesthetic taste, technique and skill can create with Krita. Illustrations and spectacular drawings . And one of those artists who also uses only free software is David Revoy .
This artist is the creator of many other works of comic art Pepper and Carrot . A free comic created with free tools that tell the stories that happen to a little apprentice witch and her cat.
This artist some time ago already created some songs for Krita that were incorporated " series "in the software to be able to adjust the appearance of your Krita to your personal tastes in how many colors of the interface.
David Revoy begins the year 2019 sharing 4 more themes ] that he has created for you to install them on your computer and test them, and if they fit your personal tastes, use them. Let's see how to install them.
The first thing is to download the .zip folder with the 4 new themes of David Revoy. To download them you can do it from here.
Then we open Krita and go to the menu: Preferences → Manage Resources . In that new window we click on the button " Open resources folder ", which will open our file browser in the specific path where Krita's resources are stored (/ ~ / .local / share / krita) .
On that route there will be a folder called "color-schemes" (if it does not exist, we created it). We open the folder and inside it we copy the .zip file that we have previously downloaded and extract the content in that folder.
That's it. Now we must close Krita and open it again, so that it takes into account the new modifications. Once opened, we can change between the new themes downloaded in the menu: Preferences → Themes
Surely one of them is to your liking and you establish it as the main one when it comes to making your works of art with Krita , how are you the artist Ramón Miranda.
