Kearns man hit, killed by car identified

WEST JORDAN — Police have identified a Kearns man who was hit and killed near the South Valley Regional Airport Sunday night.

Joseph Charles Clapp, 53, was crossing 6200 South in a dark area with no crosswalk, when he was hit and killed by a westbound car near 4500 West, Unified Police Sgt. Melody Gray said.
