Letter: We should be talking about car control

The Second Amendment gives you the right to have a gun. Would you say the latest interpretation of the First Amendment gives you the right to incite a riot? If you’re really want to stop people getting hurt or killed, we need to ban civilian ownership of cars.

This year over 40 children have died in hot cars. The average number of car accidents every year is 6 million, more than 90 people die every day. Three million are injured — 2 million permanently.

Where are the marches? Where is the call for Congress to do something?
