A rancher moves the last group of cattle along Highway 89 between Temple Fork Road and Twin Creeks while a convoy of cars follows in Logan Canyon on Monday. More than 1,400 cattle are expected to travel the highway in groups of 200 to 300 over three days as ranchers transfer them between early and late summer pastures. Drivers are warned to expect delays in Logan Canyon between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday while the cattle are on the road. Motorists should slow down when driving through the canyon’s sharp curves, and should use extra caution in the evening and night to avoid stray cattle.
