SALT LAKE CITY — Michelle Obama and her husband former President Barack Obama are closing in on a property in Martha’s Vineyard, according to multiple reports.
The property is reportedly worth $14.85 million. But the Obamas will reportedly pay less than that for the estate.
The property is a 29-acre beachfront area with a home that measures 6,892-square feet, according to TMZ, which was the first to report on the purchase.

The Obama family rented the home at first through summer 2019. However, they decided to buy it because they “loved it so much,” according to the New York Post.
The home, which is 79 Turkeyland Cove Road in Edgartown, Massachusetts, includes “a living room with vaulted ceilings and a stone fireplace, a chef’s kitchen and a formal dining room with giant windows,” according to the New York Post.
The home was first built in 2001, according to Realtor.com.
