Motorcyclist killed in crash on I-70

ELSINORE, Sevier County — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on I-70 Thursday afternoon, the Utah Highway Patrol said.

The driver, whose name was not immediately released, went off the road at a curve and was unable to recover, according to police.

Troopers were on the scene about 3 p.m.

The crash happened at mile marker 28, between Elsinore and Joseph.

Investigators are looking into wind as a possible factor in the crash, Utah Highway Patrol said.
