TREMONTON — Authorities have identified the driver killed Friday when his car collided into the rear of a semitrailer on I-15 in Box Elder County Friday.
He is 75-year old John Hallum of Caldwell, Idaho, the Utah Highway Patrol said in a tweet Saturday. The agency did not release further details on the crash that critically injured another person about noon Friday near Tremonton.
In another Friday crash about 2 miles away, a different car was rear-ended by a semitrailer and then pushed forward into another semitrailer, according to troopers. Those injured were expected to recover.
