It is clear from the last year that if one is a true conservative, Donald Trump is no friend.
He has created the largest budget deficit during good economic times in history. He is using the ideals set in our Constitution as toilet paper. He is backing the enemies of democracy, i.e. Putin and Kim, instead of backing our democratic allies in NATO. He has destroyed our honor and credibility as a nation with his recent actions in Syria. Finally, he may be handing over the presidency to a far-left progressive in the Democratic Party.
The fact is, if you have true conservative beliefs, we should urge a true conservative, someone with standing in the Republican Party, to challenge President Trump. This is where we need the help of all citizens of Utah. I believe the person to challenge this would-be king is your own Sen. Romney. He has true conservative beliefs and he is a man of honor. And I believe he can beat Donald Trump in the primaries.
But time is running out. As a man of honor, I know he will not run unless he gets the go-ahead from his fellow Utahns. Therefore I think everyone from the great state of Utah should write, call or even march to his office and urge Sen. Mitt Romney to run for the presidency. Tell him you release him from his pledge to serve as your senator because the country needs him for a higher cause. The cause is to save our nation from the dark hole that President Trump is putting our nation in.
We need Utahns to do this for our nation. Please consider this.
