Photos: Artists give weathered Murray mural a fresh coat of paint

Tim Davis, left, and Brian Scott put the finishing touches on a mural on 5300 South and State Street in Murray on Wednesday. The mural, in front of the Costco, had become unrecognizable due to weathering over 17 years. The city hired Davis and Scott, the original artists, to replicate the original design. The mural features scenes celebrating the city’s history.
