Climbers prepare to rappel down a rock face as the sun rises above the mountaintops in Big Cottonwood Canyon on Thursday. While temperatures on Thursday were on the cool side, KSL meteorologist Grant Weyman said Friday and Saturday should be warmer. However, a cold front is expected to move into the Wasatch Front area Saturday night, bring with it a few rain and snow showers, and high temperatures in the 40s.
