Taco Bell will give away the tacos for the ‘Steal a Base, Steal a Taco’ promotion

Taco Bell will give out free tacos Wednesday in accordance with its “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco” World Series promotion.

The annual promotion comes after Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner — who is now a “Taco Hero,” according to USA Today — stole second base in the first inning of Game 1 of the World Series against the Houston Astros.

Interested customers can receive these free tacos at participating Taco Bell restaurants from 2 to 6 p.m. local time on Wednesday.

The taco normally costs $1.69.

Taco Bell has been doing this promotion for the last few years. Last year, Taco Bell gave out free Doritos Locos Tacos in November 2018 after Mookie Betts stole second base in Game 1 of the World Series for the Boston Red Sox, as reported by the Deseret News.
