The Utah Jazz played terribly in the first half of their game Friday night on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies, but they righted the ship in the third quarter and then made the necessary plays down the stretch to get the 103-94 win and snap a two-game skid.
Here are three takeaways from the game.
- The Jazz shot an atrocious 31% from the field in the first half and trailed 55-40 at the break but wound up shooting exactly 40% for the night.
- Bojan Bogdanovic had seven points at halftime but then exploded for 26 more in the second half, including 16 in the fourth quarter.
- A Utah defense that gave up 55 points in the first half surrendered just 39 in the second. Grizzlies star rookie Ja Morant scored just 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting for the game.
