Live coverage: BYU hosts Liberty in matchup of independent teams

PROVO — BYU welcomes fellow independent team Liberty to LaVell Edwards Stadium for a Saturday evening contest.

The Cougars (4-4) will be trying to build off the momentum of a two-game winning streak, with victories over Boise State and Utah State. The Flames (6-3), meanwhile, have won six of seven and need one more win to qualify for a bowl.

Game time is 5:30 p.m. MST, and the game is being televised on ESPNU.
