SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah State-Boise State matchup has carried with it heightened implications in recent years.
That’s the case again Saturday night, as the Aggies try to stay in the race for the Mountain West Conference’s Mountain Division crown.
Utah State (6-4, 5-1 MW) trail the No. 20 Broncos (9-1, 6-1 MW) by a game in the Mountain Division standings, and with an Aggie win, would set up a three-way tie atop the division, along with Air Force.
A loss tonight, though, would eliminate USU from contention for the Mountain Division title.
The game kicks off at 8:30 p.m. MST and is being televised on CBS Sports Network.
