Series: This will be the 70th all-time meeting between the two programs. The Aggies lead the all-time series 39-26-4. The 39 wins for Utah State are its most against any opponent. The Aggies have won five of the last seven meetings, including the 2018 affair in Laramie, although Wyoming won the last meeting in Logan in 2017.
THE STAKES
For Utah State: With a win, the Aggies would become bowl eligible for the eighth time in the last nine years and stay in the hunt in the Mountain West Conference’s Mountain Division.
For Wyoming: If the Cowboys win, they would move into a tie with the Aggies in the Mountain Division standings at 4-2 in conference play.
THE TRENDS
For Utah State: After giving up at least 31 points twice in their first six games, the Aggies have done it in each of their last three games.
For Wyoming: Following their 37-31 loss to Missouri in the season opener, the Cowboys haven’t given up more than 26 points in a game since.
NEXT UP
The Aggies will play a marquee game at home next Saturday against the Boise State Broncos, and the Cowboys will return home to face the Colorado State Rams on that same day.
