The aquarium, 12033 Lone Peak Parkway, is all decked out for the Festival of the Seas, which runs through the end of the month. During the festival, visitors can see Santa diving with the sharks, get a free digital photo with Santa, and see special guest performances on select dates. There’s also an Elf in the Kelp scavenger hunt now through Christmas Eve, where guests can search for 15 elves hidden in aquarium habitats, collect a prize and enter for a chance to win a family membership. All Festival of the Seas activities are free with aquarium admission or a membership. The festival will end with a Noon Year’s Eve celebration, when the aquarium will celebrate the New Year with a countdown and confetti blast at noon.
