WEST VALLEY CITY — Police have identified a woman killed in a crash in West Valley City Saturday evening.
The crash occurred at 5400 S. Mountain View Corridor when a vehicle ran a red light and hit another vehicle, West Valley police said.
Starlin Larsen, 23, was in a westbound car and died in the crash, police said. A 21-year-old man who was driving suffered critical injuries.
A woman and two children in the other vehicle, an SUV driving south, sustained minor injuries.
Investigators Sunday were looking for traffic cam footage to determine which of the two vehicles ran the red light.
Traffic in the area was closed while a crash investigation team responded.
