HARRISVILLE, Weber County — Three trailer homes were damaged early Sunday morning in a blaze in Weber County, firefighters said.
About 12:20 a.m., fire crews were called to a trailer fire at 200 Harrisville Road at the Harrisville Trailer Park. Witnesses reported that unit 17 was on fire, but when crews arrived they found fire spreading to unit 16 and 18, according to a statement from the Ogden Fire Department.
Twenty-five firefighters battled the blaze and “were able to make access and quickly extinguish the fires and prevent further spread,” according to the statement.
Damage to unit 17 was estimated at $40,000, while damage to unit 18 was $10,000, and damage to unit 16 was estimated at $5,000, officials said.
Two occupants were evaluated for smoke inhalation after the fire. Four occupants were displaced due to structural damage to their homes, firefighters said.
The cause remained under investigation.
