MILLCREEK — A man in his 60s was injured in a shooting Thursday afternoon, police said.
The man was shot in the arm in the 2000 East area of Sierra Ridge Court, according to Unified police. The suspected shooter is in his 80s, police said.
The shooting victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The shooting appeared to be the result of an ongoing family dispute, police said, as the two men are related.
The shooter had not been taken into custody as of 4:25 p.m. and was barricaded in a home, police said.
After the suspected gunman had barricaded himself, another gunshot was heard from inside the home, according to police.
