Man found dead after crash on U.S. 6 in Millard County

HINCKLEY, Millard County — A man was found dead Sunday morning in Millard County after a rollover crash, troopers said.

A passerby noticed the wrecked car just after 7 a.m. on eastbound U.S. 6 near Hinckley, said Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Colton Freckleton, but the crash appeared to have happened earlier in the morning.

Troopers believe the driver lost control of his car and overcorrected, causing it to roll once, Freckleton said. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.

The man’s name was not immediately released.
