OGDEN — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in Ogden overnight Saturday after pulling in front of a fire department ambulance, firefighters said.
The crash occurred at Lincoln Avenue and 23rd Street about 1:40 a.m., said Ogden Fire Deputy Chief Shelby Willis.
The ambulance had its lights and sirens on and was en route to a call before the motorcyclist pulled in front of it, Willis said.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital.
Utah Highway Patrol investigated the crash in order to maintain impartiality, Willis said.
Ogden Fire Department was not cited in the crash.
