Our family lives in Layton, and our oldest child, a daughter, is a senior at Northridge High School. Obviously, she is very disappointed to end her senior year without the many milestones many enjoy in the United States. However, Northridge High School’s administration, staff and faculty have done so many things to make seniors feel special.
One of their actions occurred the day after Gov. Gary Herbert announced that the soft-closure of schools would continue through the end of May. That next day, Northridge administration, staff and faculty personally began delivering and posting signs in the yard of every senior to recognize these graduates. Our daughter was thrilled by this recognition which took away a bit of the sting of disappointment.
We are so impressed by the love and devotion from these dedicated educators.
