SALT LAKE CITY — Several major Utah malls have announced their reopenings after Utah leaders moved the state’s COVID-19 risk level from high to moderate.

City Creek Center in downtown Salt Lake City will reopen Wednesday at 11 a.m., according to an announcement posted on the mall’s website Sunday. Store and restaurant hours may vary, so shoppers are encouraged to check individual store hours before visiting.

“We will continue to comply with all local, state and federal laws and mandates to ensure a safe environment,” City Creek Center officials said on the website.

Other malls including The Gateway downtown, Fashion Place in Murray and Station Park in Farmington also announced openings.

At The Gateway, some stores and restaurants began opening on Friday, but some remain closed. The Gateway’s website has a list of merchants that have open doors.

Fashion Place also announced openings of some stores and restaurants that will operate with limited hours. Check Fashion’s Place’s website for more details.

Station Park is also open, with varying store hours. Shoppers are encouraged to check with individual stores directly.
