SALT LAKE CITY — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is continuing to reopen its temples on a limited basis as local governments ease restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The church’s plan is for temples to reopen in four phases, with the first phase offering only living husband-and-wife sealings with minimum staff and participants, including the bride, the groom and a limited number of healthy guests.
