It’s a Superman quote from 2001
DC Comics used an iconic quote from Superman as a response to the ongoing nationwide protests on police brutality, racial injustice and the death of George Floyd, the unarmed black man who died when a white police officer knelt on his neck.
What’s going on:
- DC Comics tweeted out a quote:
- “Dreams save us. Dreams lift us up and transform us. And on my soul, I swear... until my dream of a world where dignity, honor and justice becomes the reality we all share — I’ll never stop fighting. Ever.”
