NCAA finalizes plans for six-week college football preseason prep period

The question of whether or not the 2020 college football season will start on time took a big step in the affirmative direction on Wednesday.

In a move that was widely expected, the NCAA Division I Council voted to approve a plan that will give programs six weeks of preseason practice in preparation for the season.
