Loughlin and her husband will head to prison amid the coronavirus pandemic

Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, remain “terrified” of prison because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, E! News reports.

What’s happening:

An unnamed source told E! News that Loughlin and Giannulli “are terrified about going to jail” because of how the novel coronavirus spreads through prison symptoms.

  • The dates for their sentences have not been decided yet.

Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose Giannulli — the daughters of Loughlin and Giannulli — are “worried” about their parents, too. They “hate to see them so upset.”

  • The unnamed source said: “Everyone is on edge and just trying to hold it together and stay strong.”

Loughlin and Giannulli hope to serve their sentences at different times, too, according to E! News.

  • “They don’t want to have any overlap and leave the girls on their own,” the source said. “They are trying to work out a way that one of them can be in L.A. with the girls while the other is serving their sentence.”

The state of mind for Loughlin

On Aug. 21, Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison for mail and wire fraud in the college admissions scandal.

U.S. Judge Nathaniel Gorton accepted her plea deal, which included two months in prison, a $150,000 fine and two years of supervised released with 100 hours of community service, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts.

Loughlin worried over COVID-19

  • Back in June, reports surfaced that Loughlin was “scared to death of catching COVID-19, as the virus is ravaging the federal prisons in California,” an unnamed source told Us Weekly magazine.
  • An unnamed source told Us Weekly: “She’s met with the official who’s preparing her sentencing report, which the judge will use for guidance as to how long she’ll serve.”
