TOOELE — A man accused of sending pornographic pictures to a girls softball team Facebook page has been charged.
James Brett Holden, 23, of Clearfield, was charged Friday in Tooele County’s 3rd District Court with five counts of distribution of pornography by an adult, a third-degree felony.
On July 19, a woman reported to Tooele police that she received messages sent on Facebook Messenger to her daughter’s softball Facebook page from Holden, according to charging documents.
“Among the messages were five different pictures of two or more adults engaging in sexually explicit acts on each other,” the charges state.
The pictures were accompanied by a message that was sexually suggestive, according to the charges.
Police interviewed Holden who “indicated that he thought that the Facebook page was a ‘subliminally’ sexual Facebook page,” the charges state.
