Police investigating body found near Saltair resort

MAGNA — Police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found near the Great Saltair on Saturday.

The female’s body was found off of the Frontage Road at the edge of Salt Lake County, said Unified Police Sgt. Melody Gray. She said police did not know the identity or age of the body.

Police believe she had been deceased for several days. They did not initially determine her cause of death, Gray said.
