SALT LAKE CITY — A Salt Lake man has been arrested and accused of raping a 13-year-old girl.
Ahmed Muhidin Ahmed, 23, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail Saturday for investigation off three counts of rape of a child.
The incidents happened in July, according to a police affidavit.
In July 2019 Ahmed was convicted in 3rd District Court of aggravated assault for punching and kicking his mother and hitting her with a metal baseball bat, according to court records. A warrant was issued for his arrest on May 19 for failing to comply with the conditions of his probation.
