“Star Wars” fans are making the case that R2D2 appears in “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” season trailer.

What’s going on?

• The first trailer for the second season of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” dropped Tuesday.
• “Star Wars” fans immediately went to work to point out easter eggs and secret moments within the trailer.
• One scene shows an X-Wing pulling up beside The Mandalorian as they soar through space.
• One fan might have spotted R2D2 sitting on that X-Wing:

Wait, is that Boba Fett, too?

“Star Wars” fans who reviewed the first Season 2 trailer for “The Mandalorian” after its release might have also spotted Boba Fett’s jetpack, which isn’t surprising given all the rumors about the character appearing in the show.
