Coronavirus: Utah responds to the pandemic

Utah has seen 103,117 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 568 total deaths as of Saturday, according to the Utah Department of Health. That’s an increase of 1,608 cases from Friday. One new death was reported.

• Total number of COVID-19 cases: 103,117
• Total reported people tested: 1,022,809
• Total COVID-19 hospitalizations: 4,997
• Total COVID-19 deaths: 568
• Single-day high for reported cases: 1,960 (Oct. 23)
• Single-day high for reported deaths: 15 (Oct. 2)

Worldwide

Globally, the novel coronavirus pandemic has now infected 42,055,863 and killed 1,141,567 people as of Saturday, according to the World Health Organization.
