Utah has seen 107,228 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 578 total deaths as of Tuesday, according to the Utah Department of Health. That’s an increase of 1,145 cases from Monday. Four new deaths were reported.

Recently
- On Sunday, hospital officials said the state might soon need to implement crisis standards of care after a week of record case counts and hospitalizations.
- On Friday, the state saw another record day of cases that brought the state over 101,000 total positive tests.
Worldwide
Globally, the novel coronavirus pandemic has now infected 43,341,451 and killed 1,157,509 people as of Tuesday, according to the World Health Organization.
