Utah has seen 112,932 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 601 total deaths as of Friday, according to the Utah Department of Health. That’s an increase of 2,292 cases from Thursday. Three new deaths were reported.

- Current COVID-19 hospitalizations: 318
- Total COVID-19 deaths: 601
- Single-day high for reported cases: 2,292 (Oct. 30)
- Single-day high for reported deaths: 15 (Oct. 2)
Recently
- On Thursday, Utah reported 10 more deaths for the second day in a row.
- On Sunday, hospital officials said the state might soon need to implement crisis standards of care after a week of record case counts and hospitalizations.
Worldwide
Globally, the novel coronavirus pandemic has now infected 44,888,869 and killed 1,178,475 people as of Friday, according to the World Health Organization.
