Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James left the court. There’s a reason why.
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James walked off the court during the NBA Finals on Sunday night, but he wasn’t the only one.
- Rajon Rondo and Kyle Kuzma left the floor, too.
Why did James do it? Was he frustrated with the team? Did he think the game was over?
- “Both,” James said, according to USA Today.

Lakers coach Frank Vogel explained what happened:
- “I think they thought the game was over,” Vogel said. “I don’t think they realized there was point whatever that was still on the clock.”
Reaction from the game
“This is not a good look,” ESPN broadcaster Mark Jackson said during the game.
Social media had a few reactions as well.

@KingJames hey be a man and stay on the court with your team and take the loss like a man. You ran to the locker room like a child. That’s why you’re not the GOAT. You’ll never the MJ. Not even close.
