After months of waiting, the Utah State Aggies officially kick off the 2020 season tonight at 5:15 p.m MDT, when they take on the Boise State Broncos in Boise, Idaho.
The Aggies have lost their last three season openers going back to 2017, falling to Wisconsin, Michigan State and Wake Forest, while the Broncos have opened each of the last five seasons with a victory.
Utah State trails in the all-time series against Boise State, 19-5, and is a 2-10 in Boise. Since USU defeated Boise State 52-26 in 2015, the Broncos have won each of the last four games, including a 56-21 win in Logan last year.
Utah State and Boise State will be playing a conference game against one another for the 19th time, but this will be the first time it is the league opener for both schools.
