Utah has seen 116,510 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 614 total deaths as of Sunday, according to the Utah Department of Health. That’s an increase of 1,854 cases from Saturday. Ten new deaths were reported.

- Total COVID-19 hospitalizations: 5,526
- Current COVID-19 hospitalizations: 342
- Total COVID-19 deaths: 614
- Single-day high for reported cases: 2,292 (Oct. 30)
- Single-day high for reported deaths: 15 (Oct. 2)
Recently
- On Saturday, Utah Gov. Gary Herbert called Utah’s situation “critical” after the state reported 1,724 new cases.
- On Friday, the state smashed its record for new cases with 2,292.
- On Thursday, Utah reported 10 more deaths for the second day in a row.
Worldwide
Globally, the novel coronavirus pandemic has now infected 45,942,902 and killed 1,192,644 people as of Sunday, according to the World Health Organization.
