SALT LAKE CITY — Ten more deaths and 1,854 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Sunday by Utah health officials.
Sunday’s new case report totaled 130 more than Saturday. The state’s rolling seven-day average for positive tests is 1,644 per day. The rolling seven-day average for percent of positive lab tests is 18.7%. A total of 116,510 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Utah
As of Sunday, 342 people were hospitalized in the state with COVID-19, an increase of 25 from the day before. More than 5,500 people have been hospitalized since the beginning of the outbreak, according to state health officials.
Among the 10 new deaths reported — nine men and one woman — one was a male between the ages of 45 and 64, six people were between the ages of 65 and 84, and three men were over the age of 85.
