DRAPER — A new car owner who apparently got confused by the vehicle’s gears crashed through the entrance of a Jamba Juice Friday.
Just after 7 a.m., a man in a car in front of Jamba Juice, 148 E. 12300 South, put his car in drive instead of reverse and crashed into the store, according to police. The car was new, according to police, and the driver was apparently confused by the gears. The driver was not impaired, police said.
All but the vehicle’s rear bumper came to rest inside the business.
Information about the male driver, including his age, was not released.
The Jamba Juice was closed at the time and no one was injured. Damage to the business is extensive, according to police.
