Letter: Listen to Mitch McConnell. Trump lost

The people have spoken, the courts have spoken, the states have spoken. There is no evidence of wide-scale voter fraud in this election. Saying the election was stolen over and over again does not make it true. I quote from Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the Senate, “If this election were overturned by mere allegations from the losing side, our democracy would enter a death spiral,” he said. “We’d never see the whole nation accept an election again. Every four years would bring a scramble for power at any cost.”

Donald Trump is desperate to retain power at any cost to our republic. We must stand firm in the principles of democracy.
