Jay Hill’s team is getting a Power Five program talent.
Jordan Allen, who’s played at the SEC’s Tennessee the past three years, announced Sunday on Twitter he will be headed to Weber State to finish his college career.

On Dec. 9, Allen said he had entered the NCAA transfer portal, with the intention of finishing his last two years as a tight end/wide receiver at another school.
The 6-foot-4, 238-pounder has been well-traveled in his college career, as Weber State would be his fourth school. He started off at UC Davis — which, like the Wildcats is a member of the Big Sky Conference — before transferring to junior college program City College of San Francisco after a redshirt year in 2016.
He starred in San Francisco on defense and transferred to Tennessee in 2018 as a four-star prospect and top 20 JUCO recruit. Allen played as a reserve outside linebacker that year and had six tackles, then missed 2019 with an injury before moving to tight end in the spring of 2020 and never was able to move up the depth chart this past season.
