This year’s slate of advertisements features appearances from Michael B. Jordan, Matthew McConaughey, Mila Kunis, John Cena, Maya Rudolph, Will Ferrell and many more

The battle between Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs and Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers is not the only faceoff taking place on Super Bowl Sunday. Between plays, advertisers will be competing for money and media attention as they roll out their much-anticipated Super Bowl commercials.

From a financial standpoint, these commercials are no small investment. USA Today reports that a 30-second ad spot during the 2021 Super Bowl costs around $5.5 million. With such high stakes at play, several advertisers have elected to release their commercials days in advance to generate buzz even before kickoff.
