Aggies are in, will face Texas Tech in first round of NCAA Tournament

Utah State was awarded an 11-seed and will take on the 6-seeded Red Raiders.

It was a close call, but the Utah State Aggies are headed to the NCAA Tournament.

The Aggies were widely thought to be squarely on the bubble, but they’ll enter the tournament as an 11-seed seed and play the 6-seed Texas Tech Red Raiders in the first round.

Times and dates for games have not yet been determined.

Utah State enters the tournament with a 20-8 record and was runner-up in the Mountain West Conference to the San Diego State Aztecs.
