The Cougars will face the 6-seed Rutgers Scarlet Knights in the first round next Monday.
After their heartbreaking last-second loss in the West Coast Conference Tournament championship game last week, there was uncertainty if the BYU Cougars would make the NCAA Tournament field.
On Monday evening they got good news, as they were slotted as an 11-seed. They will face the 6-seed Rutgers Scarlet Knights in the first round next Monday.

Elsewhere, the UVU Wolverines will make their first-ever trip to the tournament as a 16-seed and face the 1-seed Stanford Cardinal in the first round on Sunday. The Cardinal are ranked No. 2 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

The Wolverines did not win the Western Athletic Conference but got its automatic bid because Cal Baptist is not eligible for the tournament.
