On Wednesday evening for the second time in the day, a defensive back announced on Twitter that he has committed to play for the Utah State Aggies football program.
First in the morning, Nevada high schooler Saco Alofipo announced his pledge. Then in the evening it was a player from the junior college ranks, as Northeastern Oklahoma A&M’s Kobe “KT” Hylton announced his commitment to Utah State.
As observed by the Herald Journal’s Jason Turner, Aggie great Darwin Thompson played there before going to Logan and ultimately the NFL.

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, Hilton hails from Snelville, Georgia. He began his collegiate career in 2019 at Long Island University in New York before transferring. This spring, he tallied 16 tackles, a sack, an interception and seven pass breakups.
Hilton had tweeted on April 6 that he had received a scholarship offer from the Aggies. According to his tweets, he also received offers from the following schools:
- South Dakota
- Western Illinois
- Southeast Missouri State
- Youngstown State
- Northern Iowa
- Eastern Kentucky
- Eastern Michigan
It’s not immediately clear if Hilton will join Utah State for the 2021 season.
