6A first round (Game 2)
Zach Jorgensen had two RBIs and took the win on the mound as Westlake completed a 2-0 sweep of Cyprus in the 6A first round series.
Mason Memmott had three RBIs and a home run while Gavin Douglas earned the win on the mound to help Fremont come away with the shutout victory over Roy in the 6A first round.
Andrew Floyd recorded a double, a home run and drove in three runs as Kearns forced a Game 3 against Weber as it rallied to take the lead with a four-run sixth inning.
Landen Crisler had two RBIs and a home run while Kalen Cundick took the win on the mound as Northridge took the 6A first round series sweep over Copper Hills.
Kyler Stromberg had three RBIs and a triple and Wyatt Humphrey hit a double and earned the win on the mound as Syracuse tied the 6A first round series at 1-1 against Davis.
Jakob Harrison and Tanner Smith each hit a triple, while Justin Morgan earned the win on the mound as Taylorsville swept Herriman 2-0 in the 6A first round series.
Mason Alcaraz went 2 for 3 to lead West Jordan to the 2-0 series sweep of West in the 6A first round. Davan Hansen picked up the victory on the mound by striking out four.
Corner Canyon 13, Clearfield 8
Corner Canyon scored eight runs in the seventh inning to come from behind and take the big win over Clearfield in the 6A first round series. Ty Neal earned the win on the mound for the Chargers.
6A first round (Game 3)
Davis shut out Syracuse in Game 3 to take the 2-1 series win in the 6A first round after dropping Game 2. Trey Talbot hit a triple and Jake Maw took the win on the mound for the Darts.
Oakley Lawrence had a RBI and a double while Braedon Roylance hit a double as Weber bounced back with the Game 3 win after dropping Game 2.
5A second round (Game 2)
John-Luke Shroeder went 2 for 4 with four RBIs to lead Brighton to the win over Springville in impressive come-from-behind fashion. Springville took a 7-0 lead after the fourth inning, but the Bengals scored five runs in the fifth and four in the sixth to rally for the win to complete the 2-0 series sweep in the 5A second round.
After narrowly defeating Box Elder in game one of the series, Murray used 12 unanswered to end game two before reaching the seventh inning. Daniel Brousseau had four RBIs for the Spartans. Murray will play Spanish Fork in the next round.
The Bountiful Braves defeated Park City, scoring 6 runs on 10 hits. Dallin Maxwell, Hunter Esplin and Drew Bowles each contributed doubles. Bountiful will move on to the next round.
Cole Mason had a RBI and a double while Ty Lamb picked up the complete-game victory on the mound with five strikeouts to lead Provo to the 2-0 series win over higher seed Alta in the 5A second round.
Orem rallied in the seventh inning, scoring eight runs to come from behind and take the 2-0 series win over Payson in the 5A second round. Trey Wilson had two RBIs, a double and a home run, Cohen Strickland had two RBIs and a double, Sawyer Slade had an RBI and a home run, Luke Kimmel had four RBIs and a home run and Bryant Sakamaki earned the win on the mound for the Tigers.
Hudson Manwaring had two RBIs and a double and Sam Evans had a double as Skyline took the 2-0 sweep over Viewmont in the 5A second round series.
Mason Cook went 2 for 3 with a pair of doubles, while Tucker Wall, Landon Day and Park Romney each drove in two runs as Farmington took care of business in five innings to complete the 2-0 series sweep of Bonneville.
Payton Swapp doubled twice, while Chett Wilson, Riley Davis and Jackson Bolender each drove in a pair of runs as Wasatch scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull away from Lehi to complete the 2-0 series sweep.
4A third round
Braydon Schiess had a great day at the plate and on the mound leading Mountain Crest to the 4A winners bracket victory over Stansbury. On the mound he picked up the win by pitching six innings and striking out four, and then at the plate he went 2 for 4 with three RBIs.
Bear River continued its hot hitting in the 4A state tournament as it upset top seed Desert Hills in the day of games as the tournament shifts to the double-elimination portion at SLCC. Ashton Harrow earned the win on the mound to lead the Bears.
Pinch runner Jake Hill scored in the bottom of the seventh on a Jackson Ence grounder as Snow Canyon edged Dixie to stay in the winners bracket of the 4A state tournament at SLCC. Sam Lindsey doubled to get in scoring position, his second double of the game.
Kole Jenson had a RBI and a double and Jaden Harris earned the win on the mound as Ridgeline defeated Pine View in the 4A third round.
