The 3A girls golf regular season came to a close on Monday with the final region tournaments of the season. The focus now shifts to the state tournament at Mountain View Golf Course in West Jordan next Wednesday and Thursday.
Richfield, Morgan and Union each won their respective region titles. Richfield will be the defending state champion next week.
The three region medalists are Richfield’s Piper Harris, Morgan’s Ellie DeMond and Union’s Emily Keel.
Demond finished with the top scoring average in 3A at 79.5.
