Davis, Hunter, Herriman and Lone Peak all captured region titles
The 6A girls golf regular season came to a close on Monday with the final region tournaments of the season. The focus now shifts to the state tournament at The Ridge Golf Course in West Valley Center next Monday and Tuesday.
Davis, Hunter, Herriman and Lone Peak each won their respective region titles — all four also won the region titles back in 2019 as well. Lone Peak will be the defending state champion next week.
The four region medalists are Davis’ Victoria Castro, Hunter’s Brenda Castillo, Herriman’s Millie Terrion and Lone Peak’s Berlin Long.
Long finished with the top scoring average in 6A at 70.9.
